The TNC Psychotherapy Group is an Out-Of-Network Provider

As an out of network provider, we do not bill insurance companies directly. Upon request, we will provide a monthly receipt, called a superbill, for you to submit to your insurance company. Your counseling services may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits, medical spending or health care savings accounts.  Health insurance plans and benefits vary. The first step you can take is to call your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement for out-of-network counseling services. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

Why Private Pay?

The TNC Psychotherapy Group chooses to be a private-pay practice. We believe this allows us to offer a higher standard of care to our clients. If you want to have more control over your therapy and are seeking the highest level of care, privacy and confidentiality, private pay has advantages over alternative methods of paying for therapy. To have therapy services covered under insurance, a mental health diagnosis must be made. Many clients choose not to involve insurance companies in their mental health care, as counseling is not limited by the diagnosis, treatment plan or session limits that health insurance companies dictate. By paying privately or out of pocket, we can assure private pay clients the highest degree of privacy, flexibility and control of their mental health record allowed by state law.

Payment accepted: Cash, Credit and Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, FSA and HSA)

Payments are due in full, at the time of service.

No Show & Cancellation Policy

Once an appointment is scheduled, clients are responsible for full payment of that session. No Shows or Late Cancellations (providing less than 24 hours notice) prevents us from serving other requests as important as yours. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. Cancellation without 24 hours advance notice will be billed accordingly.
